In 1933 Carlo Abarth, founder of, racer and daredevil challenges the Orient Express to a race. From Ostend to Vienna. Abarth on a motorbike and the Orient Express ... on the tracks. After a fierce ride of 1.370 km, Abarth wins with a 20-minute lead.

As a tribute to Abarth, we are recreating this great historic race.. as a test drive. The same idea stands: a race from Ostend to Vienna, but now in an Abarth 595 Competizione against the modern public transport! The ultimate historical test drive.
